Jotun Woodshield Interior Varnish is a clear coating that captures and preserves the natural elegance of wood. With its low odour property and quick drying formula, application becomes a breeze a well. Woodshield Varnish is available in a clear finish.
Jotun wood varnish is based on a superior quality modified urethane alkyd resin, which provides high quality wood finishes. Its a clear, fast drying and gives an exclusive durable finish. Low odour and water resistant. Free from harmful heavy metals such as Mercury, Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic, Chromium etc.

Recommended use
Jotun Woodshield Varnish Clear is ideal for all kinds of interior untreated hardwood, softwood, plywood, chip board etc. Can also be used as a topcoat for an anti termite and fungal system with Jotun Wood Preserver as undercoat.
The product can be applied by
Roller : Recommended.
Brush : Recommended.
Spray : Use Conventional spray.Cleaning of painting tools
Use an enamel based thinner (Jotun Thinner No. 2)Coverage
10.2 sqm / L (for applying 1 coat of varnish)
Spreading rate depends on film thickness applied, type of texture, surface porosity, imperfections, temperature, wastage during painting etc.Thinner and Dilution
Use Jotun Thinner No. 2. But maximum 10%
Surface Preparation
The substrate must be clean and dry. Surface contamination is to be removed by thoroughly rubbing down in the direction of the wood grain, using a suitable abrasive paper and dusted off.
Recommended Paint System
Topcoat Woodshield Varnish Interior: 1 - 2 Coat(s). If anti-termite protection is required, use Jotun Woodpreserver as the first coat.Disclaimer
