Description :
Handyspray FC is an acrylic based, ready to use compound of inert filler materials, for use on all common types of interior building surfaces. It gives a high quality, even surface for painting or other finishes. Handyspray FC is suitable for both precast and conventional buildings. It can be applied manually with a trowel or sprayed using a Sprayplaster machine to pre-cast or fair-faced concrete, sand/cement render, gypsum or cement fibre board. It is also used as a finish coat for Sprayplaster Basecoat/Basecoat DP. The finished surface does not require priming before painting. On ceilings, the final coat can be spray applied (using a hopper gun) to an attractive texture finish.

AREAS OF USE:
Handyspray FC is suitable for both pre-cast and conventional buildings to level surface irregularities up to 2mm thickness. It can be applied directly to either new or old solid surfaces of pre-cast or fairfaced concrete, sand/cement render, gypsum or cement fibre board.
PREPARATION OF SURFACE :
Ensure that dust, dirt and foreign matter is brushed and/or scraped away. Grind off ridges, protrusions. Cut off any binding wire and rustproof the exposed ends. All traces of curing and/or mould release agents must also be completely removed.
APPLICATION & CLEANING OF TOOLS:
Handyspray FC can be applied manually with a trowel, or spray applied using a spray machine. For texturing on ceilings, a hopper gun is used. If dilution is required, use 2-3% clean water. Apply 1, 2 or 3 coats with trowel or spray machine and level with 30- 60cm spatula. Allow each coat to completely dry before applying the next coat. Sand the final surface within 4 hours of application to a smooth level surface, ready for painting. When used for finishing ceilings, the final coat may be left spray textured, in which case no further decoration is required Clean tools and equipment with water after use.
